Magenta 0612 C13S050670 C13S050612

Caution:

We recommend using genuine Epson toner cartridges. Using non-genuine consumable products may affect the operation of your printer. Epson are not liable for any damages or problems arising from the use of consumable products not manufactured or approved by Epson.

  • Be aware that during removal or cleaning, toner powder could get on to your hands, clothes or work surfaces.
  • Prepare a clean, level work surface before starting. If required, please cover work surface with paper or covering if required.
  • You may need a dry, lint-free cloth with which to clean the toners and any excess toner form the printer.
  • Do not touch the toner. Keep the toner away from your eyes. If toner gets on your skin or clothes, wash it off with soap and water immediately.
  • If toner is spilled, use a broom and dustpan or a damp cloth with soap and water to clean it up. Because the fine particles can cause a fire or explosion if they come into contact with a spark, do not use a vacuum cleaner.

Removing and replacing toner cartridges

  1. Turn off the printer.

  2. Open the toner access cover.

    Caution:

Always pull the toner cartridge out slowly to reduce the chance of spilling toner.

  6. Place the toner cartridge slowly on the sheets of paper spread in step 3.

  7. Unpack the new toner cartridge of the desired colour and shake it five to six times to distribute the toner evenly.

    Note:

    • Ensure that the colour of the new toner cartridge matches that on the handle before replacing it.
    • Handle the toner cartridge carefully to avoid spilling any of the toner.

  8. Remove the tape from the toner cartridge.

  9. Align the toner cartridge to the associated cartridge holder, and then insert it firmly by pressing near the centre of the label until the toner cartridge clicks.

  10. Close the toner access cover.

  11. Place the removed toner cartridge in the empty toner box.

  12. Take care not to touch any spilled toner or any toner on the sheets placed under the used toner cartridge.
